Thrifting is Life

Fitting In was never easy, luckily you don't have to when you wear vintage clothing...

I was never one to go with the crowd. Rocking rain boots, dancing on my bed screaming "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and prank calling our crushes on three way was my favorite Friday night activity. From lace trimmed camis, von dutch mesh hats and low rider Levi's from Good Will, nobody could tell me SH*T.

Man, teenage years was a time to be alive. As a performing arts kid, clothing was an extension of my creative mind, like a testimony of where I was and where I was going. While most children were rocking baggy jeans, jerseys, pencil jeans and air force ones - waddup CT/NYC... I had no interest in looking like them. And lemme tell you kids were cruel because individualism is FREEDOM!

Fast forward 10 years - rain boots are massed produced and heavily worn. Cami tanks are paired with wide leg-mom jeans and everyone is on board. Isn't that IRONIC :)

Now let's fast forward 15 years later, I am launching my baby, One on. One Boutique. When I thought of a name I couldn't help but think of all the uneasy situations my unique outfits got me into... I also couldn't stop Thanking God for the confidence to stand alone in red hair or purple leather pants.

While I am not rocking those low riders and red hair anymore, I can say I still have clothing in tact from high school. Why? because its vintage - tailored. double stitched and durable. Not to mention, it's good for the planet!

I hand selected each piece and re-designed every up-cycle with you in mind. Thank you for your support... keep standing out, keep being one of one - laced in ONE ON ONE
